Set to launch on June 30, 2025, 'Code Violet' is a PS5-exclusive third-person action horror game developed by TeamKill Media. Known for their previous title "Quantum Error," the studio is returning with an even more ambitious vision: a sci-fi world infested with prehistoric predators and technological nightmares.

Set in the 25th century on a distant colony world named Trappist 1-E, players step into the shoes of Violet Sinclair a woman abducted from her own time and thrust into a deadly mystery in a high-security biotech facility. Code Violet does not have a PC version planned, as the developers are deliberately avoiding the modding risks associated with open platforms.

Violet Sinclair wakes up in a strange place, far from home and time. She’s been taken from her past and placed in a mysterious biotech complex operated by Aion Corporation. Something went wrong here terribly wrong. Cloned creatures, failed experiments, and the ruins of civilization point to a catastrophic secret.

As Violet explores the facility, she discovers encrypted files, missing personnel, and evidence of horrific genetic engineering. Are these dinosaurs resurrected relics, or are they something worse?

Will you risk everything to uncover the truth? Or will survival become your only goal?



4. Visual Style & Sound Design

Powered by Unreal Engine, Code Violet delivers a dark and oppressive atmosphere enhanced by realistic lighting and meticulously detailed environments. Dinosaurs are rendered with sharp animations and lifelike textures, while the biotech labs exude cold, metallic dread.

PS5 hardware capabilities are on full display expect ultra-fast loading times, 4K resolution, and HDR support that brings every shadow and scale to life. The sound design, too, amplifies the experience with ambient dread and explosive action.



5. Combat System & Gameplay

Combat in Code Violet is gritty and tactical. Ammunition is limited, and every encounter demands careful thought. Use explosive devices, melee weapons, or lure enemies into traps. You’ll need to analyze each situation and sometimes avoid combat altogether.

As of now, pricing and edition details have not been officially released. However, based on TeamKill Media’s past releases, we can expect at least a digital deluxe edition with exclusive content.

There’s no PC version planned, and all gameplay will be optimized for PlayStation 5. Localization details are yet to be confirmed, but given that Quantum Error supported Korean subtitles, it is likely that Code Violet will include them as well.
